Our 2011 Summer Program
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
... Strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near.
This year's theme color, red, is the color of fire and so symbolizes the presence of God.
A bit of history - In the latter half of the nineteenth century, thousands flocked to these sacred grounds to lift their voices and
fill the air with lively praise and worship. Local churches would suspend their services to come as an entire body to worship
with "those Methodists." Many renowned preachers have stood behind the pulpit to declare the Word of God to the attentive
ears and open hearts of the faithful and the curious.
One Hundred and fifty-one years later, many different denominational and nondenominational churches still gather to praise and worship God
together here on "God's holy hill." Our mission remains the same, reaching out to a broken world with the Good News of Jesus Christ!
We welcome you to worship with us as we await His glorious return, pondering the words He spoke so long ago:
"... when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?" Luke 18:8
The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;
the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. Numbers 6:24-26
Come & be blessed!
